Overview
Symbiotic is a permissionless restaking protocol. It permits any ERC-20 token to serve as collateral for securing external networks, which are referred to as actively validated services (AVSs). The protocol functions in a manner akin to EigenLayer, but is built to be token-agnostic, thereby allowing a broader array of assets to engage in restaking. Its design emphasises modularity and decentralisation.
