The 1inch Fusion swap mode, available through the 1inch decentralised exchange aggregator, shields users from maximal extractable value (MEV) via an off-chain auction mechanism. Within Fusion, resolvers bid to fulfil user orders at the most favourable price; the successful resolver then carries out the trade on-chain, reducing slippage and the threat of front-running.
