Overview
Solang is an open-source compiler that converts Solidity smart contracts into bytecode for Solana (using the BPF instruction set) and Substrate-based blockchains. It was initially created by Hyperledger Labs, allowing developers experienced with Ethereum's Solidity to deploy on non-EVM chains without acquiring additional languages. The compiler supports a limited set of Solidity capabilities and works with Solana's programming framework.
