Overview
Jito Restaking is a restaking mechanism on the Solana blockchain. It enables holders of JitoSOL, a liquid staking token representing staked SOL, to redeploy those tokens to protect third-party networks, which are referred to as Actively Validated Services (AVSs). The design parallels EigenLayer on Ethereum, though it is constructed specifically for Solana’s framework and incorporates Jito’s existing MEV infrastructure.
