Also known as: m0, POWER

Overview

Rather than offering a stablecoin directly to end users, M0 provides infrastructure that enables institutions to create their own dollar-pegged tokens. The project positions itself as a settlement and clearing layer for primary markets. Its foundational token, M, is minted by approved participants who deposit collateral. Access to different functions within the system is controlled via governance: minters create M against posted collateral, validators independently confirm that the collateral and total supply remain fully backed, and yield earners collect the returns generated on the reserves. Entities building on M0 can wrap M into their own branded stablecoins.

Within The Counterparty graph, M0 connects to 4 tracked entities, most strongly to Ethereum, POWER, OpenZeppelin.
