MarginFi (mrgn) protocol
Overview
Mrgn Labs developed marginfi, an open-source, non-custodial borrowing and lending protocol that operates on the Solana blockchain. Launched in 2023, it allows users to supply assets to lending pools to generate yield, while also enabling borrowing against those deposits. All positions, collateral parameters, and liquidations are executed on-chain. The protocol assigns a distinct risk model to each listed asset, with individual loan-to-value ratios, liquidation thresholds, and oracle settings. It is linked to the MFI token.
