Overview
JPMorgan Chase originally built Quorum, a permissioned blockchain platform that runs on the Ethereum protocol and targets enterprise use. The system enables private transactions and smart contract execution in consortium settings, and was subsequently integrated into ConsenSys's GoQuorum initiative.
