Berachain chain
Overview
Berachain, an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain, began its mainnet operations in February 2025. Its architecture employs Proof of Liquidity, a consensus and incentive mechanism that directs rewards to liquidity and value-generating applications, rather than viewing them solely as a security expense, thereby aligning the chain, applications, validators and users. The network operates with three tokens: BERA for transaction fees, BGT for governance and emission management, and HONEY as its native stablecoin.
Within The Counterparty graph, Berachain connects to 38 tracked entities, most strongly to USD Coin, Tether USD, Pendle.
