Beefy Finance protocol
Overview
Beefy Finance is a permissionless, multichain yield optimisation protocol. Its primary offering is the Vault, where users deposit a single asset or a liquidity-provider token. An automated strategy contract then collects farming rewards and reinvests them into the initial position, enabling compounding without manual intervention. Depositors retain full custody of their funds and can exit at any time; no lock-up period applies. The protocol’s native token, BIFI, has a fixed supply of 80,000, with no minting or burning mechanism. BIFI grants governance rights—holders vote on DAO proposals—and a revenue-sharing feature: a portion of protocol earnings is distributed via the BIFI Pool and BIFI Vault. In addition to standard human-readable documentation, Beefy publishes LLM-optimised reference endpoints at llms.txt and llms-full.txt.
